This Privacy Policy describes how Bighouse Productions Inc. (“VRtuous,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the VRtuous website (vrtuous.com) and the VRtuous iOS application (collectively, the “Services”).
By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. WHO WE ARE
VRtuous is operated by Bighouse Productions Inc., based in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. We build custom 3D and VR site tours for resource, mining, and industrial companies to help them present their projects to investors, partners, and stakeholders.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
A. Through Our Website (vrtuous.com)
When you visit our website, we may collect:
– Information you voluntarily provide through our contact form, including your name, email address, and any message content you submit.
– Basic technical information automatically collected by standard web servers, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for the purpose of maintaining the website.
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on our website.
B. Through Our iOS Application (VRtuous App)
The VRtuous iOS app is a companion application for existing VRtuous clients. Accounts are created by the VRtuous team and credentials are provided directly to our clients. Users cannot sign up through the app itself.
When you use the VRtuous app, we collect and process the following:
– Account Credentials: Your username and password, which you use to sign in. Passwords are transmitted securely and are never stored on your device in plain text.
– Account Identifier: A user identifier associated with your client organization, used to determine which 3D tours you have access to.
– Authentication Data: Session tokens used to keep you signed in securely.
The app does not collect analytics data, advertising identifiers, location data, contacts, or any personal information beyond what is necessary for authentication and service delivery.
C. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
When you download a 3D tour through the app, the tour’s assets (3D models, images, data files, and related content) are saved directly to your device’s local storage for offline viewing. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted elsewhere. You can remove any downloaded tour at any time using the “Delete” option within the app.
D. Photo Library Access
The VRtuous app includes a drawing feature that allows you to annotate or sketch over tour content. If you choose to save a drawing you have created, the app will save that image to your device’s Photos library. To do this, the app requests permission to write to your Photos library.
Important:
– The app only writes images you explicitly create and choose to save.
– The app does not read, access, scan, or view any other photos, videos, or media already in your Photos library.
– You can revoke this permission at any time through your device’s Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
– To authenticate you and provide access to the 3D tours associated with your account.
– To deliver and maintain the functionality of our Services.
– To respond to inquiries submitted through our website contact form.
– To communicate with clients about their accounts, tour updates, or service-related matters.
– To improve and maintain the security of our Services.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising or marketing to third parties.
4. HOW INFORMATION IS SHARED
We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

If your organization ends its service agreement with VRtuous, we will delete or anonymize associated account data within a reasonable period unless retention is required for legal, accounting, or compliance purposes.
Locally downloaded tour assets on your device are controlled entirely by you and can be deleted at any time through the app.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
